Department of Justice (Canada)
|
The Department of Justice of Canada ensures that the Canadian justice system is a fair, accessible and efficient system. The Department also represents the Canadian government in legal matters. Almost all lawyers in the federal government are employed by Justice and are dispatched to manage the legal affairs of the other departments and agencies. The headquarters of the Department of Justice are in the St. Andrew's Towers and the connected East Memorial Building, both located on Wellington Street to the southwest of Parliament Hill.
