- A computer gaming demo can refer to either a gameplay recording or a short demonstration version of a game.
- A political demo is short form for a protest march or similar action.
- Construction workers and engineers often use demo to mean demolition. Example: "We need to finish the lead paint abatement before we can start the demo phase".
