David Kerr

David Kerr is the Chairman of Third Way (UK). He was born in Belfast and lives in the city's Shankill Road area. Kerr is the editor of Ulster Nation and an advocate of independence for Northern Ireland. A founder member of Third Way (UK), Kerr was previously a member of the British National Front, where he was a follower of the Political Soldier wing of the party. Kerr is the main force behind the Ulster Third Way, which acts as Northern Ireland arm of the Third Way, emphasising the independence question. As an NF member Kerr chaired the North Belfast Independent Unionist Association, where he first develpoed his ideas on the independence of the province.
In the United Kingdom general election, 2001 Kerr stood in the West Belfast constituency as a Third Way candidate but secured only 116 votes (a 0.3% share).
