DIME

Depending on context, the acronym DIME may have several meanings:
- Dual Independent Map Encoding - encoding scheme for GIS systems developed by the US Bureau of the Census around 1967.
- Direct Internet Message Encapsulation - a proposal for a lightweight version of MIME for transporting eg. binary data using SOAP.
- DSP and Image-processing Module for Enhanced FPGAs - a proprietary standard and product line developed by a company named Nallatech (http://www.nallatech.com/).
