In anatomy, the cuboid bone is a bone in the foot.
In geometry, a cuboid is a solid figure bounded by six rectangular faces. Since it follows that all its angles are right angles, and opposite faces of a cuboid are equal, a convenient mental image is an ordinary cardboard cereal box. It can also be called a rectangular parallelepiped or rectangular prism
The square prism is a special case of the cuboid in which at least two faces are squares. The cube is a special case of the square prism in which all faces are squares.
