Conductance
|
Conductance can refer to:
- Electrical conductance, the reciprocal of electrical resistance. Its SI unit is the siemens, also known as the mho. This term should not be confused with "electrical conduction," the movement of electrons through material.
- Thermal conductance, the reciprocal of thermal resistance. This term should not be confused with "thermal conduction," the movement of heat through a material.
- Conductance (probability) is a tool used to bound the rate of convergence of Markov chains.
