Comacine masters
|
At some point in time, there was an island named Comacina.[circa ]. This island was "dedicated to St. John the Baptist and an annual festival and midsummer [sic] pageant are observed in his honor to this day". This summer day is tied to the summer soltice.
The Comacine "Masters" were reportedly the predecessors or "progenitors" of the Freemasons.
