|
The College of New Rochelle is a private Catholic college with its main campus located in New Rochelle, New York. The college was founded in 1904 by the Order of the Ursulines. Other colleges are found a short distance away. The oldest school of the College, The School of Arts & Sciences, is, as it was in 1904, dedicated to the education of women. It offers courses in the liberal arts, pre-med, pre-law, communication arts and business. The three newer schools (Nursing, New Resources and the Graduate School) are open to men and women. The School of New Resources is an innovative program aimed at adults who are older than traditional age college students. They can receive credits for some of their career experiences at campuses in New York City and New Rochelle.
