Clovis II

Template:Merovingians Clovis II (or Chlodowech, modern French "Louis") (637 - November 27 655), a member of the Merovingian dynasty, succeeded his father Dagobert I in 639 as King of Neustria and Burgundy.
His wife, Queen Balthild an Anglian aristocrat sold into slavery in France, bore him three sons who all became king after his death: Chlotar, Childeric and Theuderic.
