The Citroën Berlingo is a small utility vehicle from Citroën developed in a common project with Peugeot, who have named their version Partner. It was released in 1996, a revised version featuring a redesigned interior and front end was released in 2003. The passenger car version is named Multispace, and sells well in several european countries due to its practicality and comparatively low pricing.
Berlingo Concept Cars
When the Berlingo was first shown at the Mondial de l'Automobile in 1996, a set of three concept cars was also presented:
- Berlingo Coupé de Plage
- Berlingo Berline Bulle
- Berlingo Grand Large
The Berline Bulle was an interesting concept of a very roomy small car which could be considered as a precursor for the C3. Only one of these concepts was actually developed, the Grand Large version, which gave birth to the present Multispace.
