Chuck Klosterman

Chuck Klosterman is an American pop-culture critic and essayist. He was born and raised on a farm near Wyndmere, North Dakota.
Klosterman is the author of three books: a humourous memoir/history on the phenomenon of hair metal, entitled Fargo Rock City; a collection of pop culture essays, entitled Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs: A Low Culture Manifesto; and Killing Yourself to Live: 85% of a True Story, about the deaths and graves of rock stars.
He is currently a senior writer for SPIN Magazine and a regular contributor to Esquire (magazine).
