Christopher Tomlinson (born: September 15, 1981 in Middlesbrough, England) is an athlete who specialises in the long jump.
His major breakthrough came in 2002 when, just three months after breaking both wrists, he jumped 8.27 m to break the British record that had been held by Lynn Davies for 34 years.
Chris has never really been able to find any consistency to go with his raw talent but in the build up to the 2004 Summer Olympics he was ranked number 9 in the world for his event.
Chris has won seven national titles in various age groups, including one for the triple jump indoors for under 20's in 2000.
