Chorley FM
|
Chorley FM is best known as a fictional radio station in the British television hit comedy Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights. Hosted by Paul LeRoy, catchphrases include "coming in your ears" and "where the listener comes first". It then became a real radio station based in Chorley, but only broadcasts for a few weeks each year. The number one station presenter was allegedly Richie Ceez, "a legend in his own right". He is allegedly fond of small and underpowered cars. Ceez's catchphrases include "Come in my ears" and "where Carl comes first".
Comedians Dave Spikey and Patrick McGuinness are campaigning for the station to get a full licence.
The station's logo is very similar to that used by Century FM in the 1990s.
