Chinatowns in the Middle East
|
The prevalence of Chinatowns in the Middle East can be attributed to the many Chinese Muslims living in the Middle East.
Israel
There is no official Chinatown throughout Israel, although there has been an informal "Chinatown" in Tel Aviv. The Chinese are not immigrants but foreign workers who come from Mainland China.
United Arab Emirates
A new, albeit somewhat artificial, Chinatown has been built in Dubai. [1] (http://www.gulfnews.com/Articles/BusinessNF.asp?ArticleID=142561)
