Chicago Express
|
Chicago Express was a regional airline formerly operating at Midway Airport in Chicago, Illinois, under the name ATA Connection. It used 17 Saab 340B aircraft to act as a feeder airline to its parent company, ATA Holding Corp. which also owns ATA Airlines, Inc. Pending a sale of the airline, forced by bankruptcy reorganization of parent ATA Holdings, Chicago Express ceased all operations at the end of March, 2005. The sale of the airline continues to be ongoing and the future owner of the airline remains to be determined as several bid winners have rejected the final sale terms of the airline and the issue remains in the courts.
