Celestica Inc., based, in Toronto, Ontario Canada , is one of the world's top electronics manufacturing services companies. These products include Personal Computer motherboards and network cards that are used in PCs, printers, scanners, and notebooks. Celestica's major customers are IBM, Juniper, Lucent and Sun Microsystems. In 2002, it reported sales of $8 billion.
Celestica was incorporated as a wholly-owned subsidiary of IBM in January, 1994; until October, 1996 when the company was acquired by Onex Corporation. Onex Corporation controls approximately 80% of the company's voting shares.
