These are highways and other route numbers in the U.S. state of Georgia. There is no general numbering scheme for Georgia routes, with the exception of 4xx generally being interstate highways (with the further exception of 400), and 5xx being developmental highways. However, there are some general rules that, in naming main state highways, east-west route numbers tend to be higher in the north and move progressively from Georgia 2, and north-south route numbers are lower in the west, starting from Georgia 1.
