The Captain Cook Bridge is the third crossing of the Brisbane River. It was opened in 1972. It crosses at the South Brisbane Reach of the river, linking Gardens Point to Woolloongabba.
It carries four lanes of traffic in either direction and links the South East Freeway to the Riverside Expressway.
