|
Founded in 2000 in Vancouver, the Canadian Democratic Movement is an on-line discussion forum, research portal, and information source for Canadian nationalists. The founders, Roy Whyte, Tom Stryz and Mandip Sekhon originally aimed to establish a new political party, but subsequently focussed on seeking alliances with like-minded partners. Canadian partners include, Vive le Canada, The Canadian National Federation, and the UberCulture Collective.
The Canadian Democratic Movement focuses on Canadian sovereignty, election reform, and governmental reform at the federal level. The staff also work or volunteer with nearly every Canadian federal political party.
The current president is Roy Whyte.
