Caledonia is a town in the western part of the Niagara Peninsula in southern Ontario, located south of Hamilton on the Grand River. It is part of the City of Haldimand County.

- Backround
- The towns founder is Ranald McKinnon. Caledonia became a settlement because of the Grand River, where a mill was established.
Later on a mine came and Caledonia is still mined by Georgia-Pacific.
