Caca
|
In Roman mythology, Caca was the sister of the fire-breathing giant Cacus. She was originally a goddess of the hearth, but was later demoted to a minor part in one version of Hercules' Twelve Labors. She, out of sympathy, told Hercules where the cattle of Geryon were after her brother stole them, and hid them in his cave. Hercules then killed Cacus.
Vesta took Caca's role as goddess of the hearth.
