- CODA (an acronym for CEBAF on-line data acquisition, where CEBAF is an acronym for continuous electron beam accelerator facility) is a data acquisition system mainly used for nuclear physics, developed beginning in the late 1980s at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility ("Jefferson Lab") and first introduced in the Ultrix operating system but also available in embedded systems using VxWorks.
