nl:Buņol Buñol is a small-sized (112 km²) industrial and agricultural (Carob trees, almond trees, fruit trees, olive trees and grapes.) town in eastern Spain, 38km west of Valencia along the Buñol River and surrounded by the mountain ranges La Sierra de Las Cabrillas, la de Dos Aguas and la de Malacara y Martés. Archeological evidence indicates civilization in Buñol going back 50,000 years. Buñol's population is about 9,000 people [1] (http://www.ine.es/htdocs/pob98in/i98muni46.htm) but swells to over 30,000 for La Tomatina (held annually on the last Wednesday in August).
Buñol has regional rail passenger service to Valencia via the Renfe system.
