- Bronte Creek, a creek west of Oakville and east of Burlington and Flamborough
- Bronte Creek Provincial Park, a park in the western portion of Oakville
and the Brontė sisters in literature, whose part of England is now known as Brontė Country, and after whom is also named Brontė waterfall.
In ancient Greek mythology there was a demi god known as Brontes.
