Bors

Bors (or Bohort)is the name of two knights in Arthurian Legend, one the father and one the son. The elder was the brother of King Ban and king of Gaul. His sons, Lionel and Bors the Younger later became Knights of the Round Table. Ban and Bors were early allies of King Arthur's, but lost their lands to their enemy Claudas.

The younger Bors is the more famous one. After his parents were killed, he was raised by the Lady of the Lake with Lionel and their cousin Lancelot. Eventually all three became excellent knights and went to Camelot. Bors' greatest fame came on the Grail Quest, where he proved himself worthy enough to witness the mysteries with Galahad and Percival. He was the only one of the three to return home.

Bors became the father of Sir Elyan the White when the daughter of King Brandegoris tricked him into sleeping with her by way of a magic ring.
