The term boner could refer to:
- A short and pointed mistake having an amusing effect. A blooper. Common among school children it is usually in response to a written or oral question.
- A spectacularly bad or embarrassing mistake. A blunder.
- A slang term describing the erection of the penis, derived from the misconception that an erection is created by a bone.
- In some parts of the United States, boner is also a slang term for cool.
- A special type of knife for carving fish.
- In the popular 1980s TV sitcom Growing Pains, the minor — but recurring — character of Richard Stabone (played by Josh Andrew Koenig) is referred to by the nickname "Boner."
