Bobby Hutcherson (born 1941 in Los Angeles) is a jazz vibraphone and marimba player.
Initially attracted to more experimental free jazz, Hutcherson made early recordings in this style with Jackie McLean and Eric Dolphy; he also made a series of recordings as a leader for Blue Note during the 1960s. His later recordings are more soul jazz or hard bop oriented.
"Little B's Poem" is one of his best-known compositions.
