Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Center Arena

The Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Center Arena (originally the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center) is an indoor arena located in Birmingham, Alabama. The arena, which sat 16,800 for ice hockey, was the home of the Birmingham Bulls of the WHA from 1976-1979. It was also the home of the basketball program of the University of Alabama at Birmingham before it moved into an on-campus arena in the early 1990s. The building is still standing and in regular use.
