Billy Pilgrim is the fictional protagonist of Kurt Vonnegut's modern masterpiece, Slaughterhouse-Five. The novel is a journey through space and time, as Vonnegut narrates Billy Pilgrim's travels through time and his abduction by the Tralfamadorians, a fictional alien race. Throughout the novel, the theme of the subjectivity of reality is expressed.
