Beverly Hills Supper Club fire

Beverly Hills Supper Club Fire occurred at the Beverly Hills Supper Club, located in Southgate, Kentucky. The Beverly Hills Supper Club first opened in 1971 and was a popular attraction. Around 9 p.m. on the night of May 28 1977 a fire erupted. The fire is believed to have been caused by faulty wiring. It quickly spread, killing 165 people. The high number killed is blamed on a variety of reasons, including toxic materials and over-crowding. It was believed several thousand people were in the club the night of the fire.
