Ben Summerskill

Benjamin James Summerskill is the Chief Executive of the UK-based LGBT lobbying organisation Stonewall. He was formerly Deputy Society Editor of The Observer which he joined in 2000 after working for the Daily Express, the London Evening Standard and other magazines. Summerskill was a Labour councillor for Westbourne Ward of Westminster City Council from 1994 to 1998.
He succeeded Angela Mason to the position in 2003.
