David Ben-Gurion was the first prime minister of Israel.
Several things in Israel are named after him:
- Ben Gurion International Airport, the largest international airport in the country.
- The Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, with the main campus located in Beer-Sheva.
- The Ben Gurion tank - a locally modified Israeli version of the Centurion tank.
- The Ben Gurion elementary school in Rehovot.
