The City of Belmont is a Local Government Area of Western Australia. It covers an area of approximately 40 square kilometers in metropolitan Perth, the capital of Western Australia and is 4.5km from the Perth CBD. The City of Belmont maintains 225 km of roads and has a population of 31,500.
Belmont also contains Perth's domestic and international airports in the suburb of Newburn, which accounts for 33.7% of the City of Belmont's land area. Belmont is also a suburb of Perth within this local government area.
