Baba ganoush
|
Baba ganoush is a very popular Middle Eastern dish, primarily made of eggplant and a sesame paste called tahini.
The eggplant is roasted in an oven for approximately 45 minutes. The softened flesh is scooped out and is then pureed with garlic, tahini, lemon juice, ground cumin and salt.
This healthy snack can be eaten in a variety of ways, including as a dip with whole wheat bread or crackers, spread on a pita, or put into numerous other dishes.
It is usually of an earthy light brown color.
In wrestling, the term Baba Ganoush is used as a synonym for jobber.
The TV show MXC always has at least one person in each episode announced with the last name of "Babaganoush".
