Avonlea

Avonlea is a fictional community located in Prince Edward Island, Canada and referenced in Lucy Maud Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables novel. It also acts as the setting for the Road to Avonlea television series.
In the works of Montgomery, Avonlea was located on the northern shore of Prince Edward Island on a small peninsula. Its primary industries were farming, fish and lobster. Neighbouring fictional towns included Carmody, White Sands, Grafton and Bright River.
