In this image, Asgard is the pale feature at the centre of the image; concentric rings appear around it. The brighter features are more recent impact craters.
Asgard is the second-largest impact crater on Jupiter's moon Callisto, measuring 1,600 km in diameter. It is named after Asgard, the realm of the gods in Norse mythology.
