In Fall, 2000, Lewis Gruber, a co-founder of Hyseq, founded Arryx. The company situated itself in downtown Chicago, Illinois. In May, 2005 Lewis Gruber was ousted from his position as CEO, and replaced by mr. Robert Geras.
Arryx seeks to develop and dominate industrial processes dependent on material control and assembly in the microscopic realm. One of their chief ventures focued on cornering the global market for bovine ejaculate products using holographic optical tweezers. Whether or not this plan will be successful has yet to be determined.
