Apolo Anton Ohno (アポロ.アントン.オーノ, born May 22, 1982 in Seattle, Washington, to American Jerrie Lee and Japanese Yuki Ohno) is an Olympic short track speed skating competitor. When Apolo was 14 years old (1997), he became U.S Champion, the youngest ever. A year before, he had appeared in Sports Illustrated for Kids as a "Hotshot." In the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics, he finished last in the trials. But in the 2002 Winter Olympics Ohno became the first U.S male to win the gold medal.ja:アポロ・アントン・オーノ
