Anime games are computer or video games that are based on anime or manga, or use anime style graphics in their presentation, or upon which anime or manga have been made. The games themselves can be of any genre, with fighting, role-playing, dating sim, and platformer games being some of the most common because of their emphasis on character art.
JRPG
JRPG, short for Japanese Role-playing game is a term sometimes applied to console RPGs ("CRPGs") produced by Japanese video game developers. This is one of the most influential anime game genres, and particularly in the case of Dragon Quest it has had a strong influence on how Western-style fantasy is portrayed in anime. Other popular JRPG titles/series include Breath of Fire, Grandia, Final Fantasy, Star Ocean, Xenosaga, etc.
