Anglo-Australian Observatory

The Anglo-Australian Observatory is an optical astronomy observatory located in the Warrumbungles National Park, near the town of Coonabarabran, Australia.
It houses the 3.9 metre Anglo-Australian Telescope and the 1.2 metre UK Schmidt Telescope. Co-located on the site is the Australian National University's Siding Spring Observatory (http://www.mso.anu.edu.au/home.php) part of the Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics.
