Andrew Newell Wyeth (born July 12, 1917) is an American realist painter, one of the best-known of the 20th century. He is often referred as "painter of the people."
His works are exhibited in a number of galleries and museums, including the National Gallery of Art and the Museum of Modern Art.
He received no formal education. His father, the illustrator N.C. Wyeth, taught him how to paint.
