Andokides
|
Andokides was a famous black-figure potter of Ancient Greece from around 550 BC. This potter is compared with the 'best' black-figure potter Exekias who was said to have created the most detailed and best examples of black-figure pottery. Andokides is seen as almost as good Exekias and has created many brilliant works. His most famous if definately his amphora depicting the God Dionysus and two of his maenads.
