Alma the Younger
|
In the Book of Mormon, Alma the Younger (BoM Arabic الما بن الما Almā ibn Almā) is the son of Alma the Elder, and considered a prophet in Mormonism, and regarded as one of the greater prophets of the Book of Mormon. He lives in Zarahemla during the end of the reign of the Nephite King Mosiah, and subsequently becomes the first elected chief judge of the Nephites. He would later abdicate this role to become a full-time religious leader.
