Among the possible ones are:

  • Act for the Settlement of Ireland 1652 (London) enacted by the Long Parliament after the Cromwellian conquest of Ireland. Whereas the Parliament of England, after the expense of much blood and treasure for suppression of the horrid rebellion in Ireland, have by the good hand of God upon their undertakings, brought that affair to such an issue, as that a total reducement and settlement of that nation may, with God's blessing, be speedily effected... It provided for execution of some and for (partial) confiscation of lands from others not loyal to Paliament.
  • Act of Settlement 1657 (London) An Act for the Assuming, Confirming and Settling of Lands and Estates in Ireland
  • Poor Relief Act 1662 (London) An Act for the better Relief of the Poor of this Kingdom. Otherwise known as the first Settlement Act or the Settlement and Removal Act.
  • Act of Settlement 1662 (Dublin) An act for the better execution of his majesty's gracious declaration for the Settlement of his Kingdom of Ireland, and the satisfaction of the several interests of adventurers, soldiers, and other his subjects there. (after the Restoration). Protestants and "innocent Catholics" are to recover some lands confiscated by the Commonwealth in the 1652 Act. It was amended and "clarified" by the Act of Explanation 1664.
  • Act of Settlement 1701 (London) (12 & 13 Wm 3 c.2) governs the succession to the Crown of England (and, by extension, of the United Kingdom). An Act for the further1 limitation of the crown and better securing the rights and liberties of the subject.
  • Act of Settlement 1703 (Douglas) An Act for the perfect Settleing and Confirmation of the Estates, Tenures, Fines, Rents, Suites, and Services of the Tennants of the Right Honourable James Earl of Derby within this Isle of Man, passed at a Tynwald Court holden at St. John's Chappel within the said Isle the 4th Day of February, in the Year of our Lord 1703.

Note 1: This is a reference to the Bill of Rights 1689, to which further reference is made in the preamble to the 1701 Act. Note that these Acts are sometimes dated 1688 and 1700. For explanation, see Gregorian calendar.
