33rd Street-Rawson Street (IRT Flushing Line station)
|
33 Street-Rawson is the last local station on the 7 before the local and express merge at Queensboro Plaza, New York City.
It is located on the Queens Boulevard concrete viaduct. There are two entrances/exits: the main at 33 Street and a part-time at 34 Street. There is no free change between directions.
From the west end of the station one can have a great view of midtown Manhattan.
In 1998 the names Bliss, Lowery and Rawson were removed from the stations. In 2004 they were restored to the stations and subway map as part of a historical move.
