Yavapai County is located in the center of the
U.S. state of
Arizona. As of
2000 its population was 167,517. The
county seat is
Prescott.

U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 21,051

mi²). 21,039 km² (8,123 mi²) of it is land and 12 km² (4 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.06% water.
