William Donovan

William Donovan (January 1, 1883 - 1959) won the Freedom Award in 1959. Donovan was in the United States Army during WWI. In that time, Donovan was awarded the medal of honor and three purple hearts. After quitting the army, Donovan became a stock market millionaire and later joined the CIA.
