The weasel is a small mammal of the family Mustelidae. Approximately between 7 and 15 inches, or 15 and 35 centimetres, in length, the weasel generally has a light brown upper coat and a white belly.

They are predatory, usually on small mammals, and in former times were considered vermin since some species took rabbits from commercial warrens.
