Tuning is a process of ensuring that a musical note is played at the correct pitch.|

String instruments are tuned by loosening the string to lower the pitch and tightening the string to raise the pitch. Wind instruments are tuned by increasing or decreasing the length of the tubing.
Tuning can be done by ear or using a tuning fork.

Car tuning is the use of technology applied to car passengers, specially GPS, car domotics, ergonomics and in-car entertainment (car-cinema sound and video and DAB radio).
Car cinema includes the use of an LCD display (generally attached to the roof), and a DAB radio-DVD player (able to play MP3s and DivX video).
