Taroko National Park
Taroko National Park (太魯閣國家公園) is one of the five national parks of the Republic of China. It spans cross the counties of Hualien, Taichung, and Nantou. Taroko (Pinyin: Tàilǔgé) is the landmark gorge of the park. It was established on November 28, l986.Sights include:

- Tunnel of Nine Turns (九曲洞 Jiuqiu Dong)
- The Bridge of Kind Mother (慈母橋)

- Jueilu Precipice (錐麓斷崖)
- Lioufang Bridge (流芳橋):1,666 meters above the riverbed
- Mill of Yu the Great (大禹嶺)
- Buluo Bay (布洛灣)
